Toru KOMATSU: Still Alive

Toru Komatsu, the Japanese photographer who first came to Taiwan to hold a solo exhibition, exhibited 30 famous photos taken from 2015 to 2017 – “still alive” and “distant coast”.

Komatsu photographed pine trees after the earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku (northeastern) Japan. Whether they are standing or lying on the ground, this brings hope and peace to life.

Welcome to join us the opening and talk with artists at 14:30, Saturday, October 26.
