Michael Nischke: ESCAPE 2015-16

German photographer Michael Nischke is known for his panoramic shots of cities
This March, he will be exhibiting more than 30 panorama color works – ESCAPE at 1839 Contemporary Gallery. 
 
Nischke spent 2 years shooting the ESCAPE series since 2015 September. He wanted to document nature and life in Iceland with his unique way of seeing things. He never fails to surprise even those who know his works with his own particular view of places, people and situations.
 
The opening ceremony will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, March 5th, and everyone is welcome to come to the grand event.

《About Artist》Michael Nischke
Born in Berlin (Germany) in 1956, Michael Nischke studied photographic engineering in Cologne, and has since worked as a photographic designer and author, and started 2000 to work as a fine art photographer. To date, Nischke, who has been appointed a member of the German Photographic Society (DGPh), has published more than 50 volumes of photographs, a number of which have received several awards. His works were also shown in serveral exhibitions in Germany and Japan. The past last years he captured photos for a special series of unseen panoramic views of North Korea and Eritrea.
